Pass-through wallet pattern

transit

Pass-through wallet pattern is a Leeri screening rule for TRON that detects the following: An address behaving as a transit point rather than a holding wallet — funds arrive and leave quickly with little balance retained.

What it detects

An address behaving as a transit point rather than a holding wallet — funds arrive and leave quickly with little balance retained.

When it fires

The combined transit signals this ruleset tracks (flow velocity, balance retention, timing between in and out) cross the scored threshold for this address.

What it means

The address behaves like a pass-through: funds come in and go out quickly and little is kept. Exchange and payment-service wallets can look the same as layering wallets here, so the pattern needs context from who the counterparties are. The signals that fired, such as fast forwarding, top-ups sized to fund a larger payout, a near-zero balance relative to throughput, funding right after account creation and round-number amounts, are listed with the finding.

What to do

Check which signals fired and who the main counterparties are; where they do not explain the flow, ask the customer about the purpose of the account.
