Layered / pass-through inbound funds

origin-layered

Layered / pass-through inbound funds is a Leeri screening rule for TRON that detects the following: A meaningful share of this address's inbound value arrived via addresses that immediately forwarded almost everything they ever received.

What it detects

A meaningful share of this address's inbound value arrived via addresses that immediately forwarded almost everything they ever received.

When it fires

Inbound value traced back through single-use, pass-through forwarding addresses — rather than ordinary counterparties — crosses this ruleset's share threshold.

What it means

Funds that reach an address through single-use forwarding addresses follow a layering pattern: each hop adds distance between the address and the original source. Smart contracts, such as swap contracts, are never counted as forwarding addresses, so ordinary DEX trading does not trigger this rule.

What to do

Review the forwarding addresses and the inbound share listed with the finding, and ask the customer about the source of funds where the share is material.
