First-time-holder USDT dispersal

energy-dispersal

First-time-holder USDT dispersal is a Leeri screening rule for TRON that detects the following: A pattern of outbound TRC-20 USDT transfers that overwhelmingly create brand-new balances rather than pay addresses that already hold USDT.

What it detects

A pattern of outbound TRC-20 USDT transfers that overwhelmingly create brand-new balances rather than pay addresses that already hold USDT.

When it fires

A large share of this address's outbound USDT transfers burn the higher energy cost of allocating a brand-new storage slot on the recipient — consistent with fan-out to freshly created addresses rather than payments to established counterparties.

What it means

Most of this address's USDT payments go to addresses that held no USDT before, which fits spreading funds across freshly created wallets rather than paying established counterparties. Legitimate payouts to new users can produce the same pattern, so it needs context about the customer's business.

What to do

Ask the customer what the outbound USDT payments were for where the volume is material to your relationship.
